Macadamia seed oil… now that’s nuts! But seriously, this oil comes from the nuts of macadamia trees. This multipurpose ingredient has been shown to strengthen hair, smooth hair, and even make curly hair more manageable.
Hedychium Coronarium (White Ginger Lily) Root Extract
Native to Hawaii, and aside from smelling absolutely divine, the white ginger lily (or awapuhi) has many uses. In our case, we use the juice of the mature seed as a hair treatment.
White Ginger Lily Root is used to keep hair healthy while moisturizing and leaving a pleasantly smooth feeling. Some have even noted an improvement in the thickness of their hair after use.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice
Aloe leaf juice is a major player when it comes to hair health. It has even been known to promote hair growth!
As a medicinal agent, aloe combats excessive oil build up and dandruff on the scalp, while eliminating bacteria growth. Its chemical composition is similar to keratin (the natural protein responsible for hair growth) so it’s no wonder aloe leaf juice has extremely positive effects on the hair.
